Repertoire Requirements
Piano
Preliminary round (CD or DVD)
Ballade, Op. 24
Semi-final round (must be performed by memory)

Any 2 works from Op. 66, Op. 72, or Op. 73
Both works do not need to be from the same opus
Voice
Voice contestants may choose to sing in English or Norwegian. Contestants singing in English must use the translations in C. F. Peters' Edvard Grieg: Complete Works vols. 14 and 15 (published in 1990 and 1991 respectively). These two volumes have also been published separately in a paperbound edition. The quality of the performance, sung in either language, will determine the awards.
Female: Grieg songs may be sung in English or Norwegian.

Final Round
Each finalist will perform a 15-minute program of works selected by the judges from the semi-finalist round.
